Meet and greet at Seaport or Zanzibar International Airport and get transferred to Tembo Hotel which is located in Zanzibar stone Town, it is one of the best 4* Hotel in Stone Town. This Seafront Hotel is decorated with wood carved furniture, and offering a Swahili four-poster bed, each room features a seating area with TV, air conditioning and a bathroom with shower and traditional hammam bath. Most of the rooms feature a balcony with sea or pool views. The hotel’s Bahari Restaurant offers local as well international cuisine. Dinner and stay overnight at Tembo Hotel on Half Board basis.

After taking breakfast in the morning we check in at the Dive Center ready for the scuba Dive in Zanzibar Stone Town. Stone Town is the main city on the spice island of Zanzibar. Diving around Stone Town offers a wide variety of coral gardens and tropical fish. Here, coral grows in huge amounts: coral-gardens, long plunging walls, underwater mountains and wrecks interchange with each other, forming a haven for the many different kind of fish who live here. The coral reefs around Stone Town are full of critter life. Macro-lovers with keen eyes (which our guides are) may find seahorses, cuttle-fish, leaf fish, frog fish, ghost-pipefish and many different kind of shrimp. For 2 days we will be exploring the beautiful marine life of Zanzibar Stone Town. Light lunch is included in the tour. Dinner and stay overnight at Tembo Hotel on HB basis.

This is your day to relax on the beach, beside the swimming pool or you can just stretch your legs by walking around Stone Town. This atmospheric and mystical town is the cultural and historical heart of Zanzibar. It was constructed from coral stone during the 19th and 20th century. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 2000. Stone Town is a very lively place where you’ll find a mixture of Arabic, African, Indian and European cultures living comfortably together. As you walk through the labyrinth of streets too narrow for cars to pass, you can see mosques, churches and temples side to side. This is also your best shopping day as you are leaving tomorrow. Dinner and overnight stay on HB basis at Tembo Hotel.

We take breakfast early in the morning and fly to the virgin island of Pemba. After meet and greet at Pemba Airport we drive to kidike Flying Fox Forest to watch the friendly bates of Pemba – Gigantic fruit bates indigenous to Pemba Island which gives visitors a great opportunity to see these creatures up close. Gathering in mixed-sex groups of up to 850 individuals to roost, the Pemba flying fox creates quite a spectacle. These are the Africa’s largest bat species, a type of fruit bat with a wing span of up to 70cm and can weigh in at around half a kilo. After the tour we proceed to Gecko Lodge and Dive Center which is located in the beautiful land of Pemba. The Lodge has 4 air-conditioned Deluxe Bungalows, 4 Standard Bungalows with fans, each with ensuite bathroom and a king-sized bed with mosquito nets and safes. A dormitory is also available for a fun group of friends. Accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant which caters for lunch and dinner and an in-house bar. Wifi connection is available in most of the time. Dinner and stay overnight on half board basis.

After taking breakfast in the morning, we get ourselves prepared and leave for a full day diving tour where we are going to have 2 beautiful dives a day, for 3 days, in different stunning dive sites. The tropical weather conditions make the Island a hot dive spot, due to the incredible marine ecosystem with plentiful animals, colorful fishes and large and deep coral walls. On the surface there is a big chance of spotting schools of dolphins. From August to October, you can spot the migrating Humpback Whales. From October to February, you can spot whales sharks. Seeing a humpback or a whale shark breaching out of the surface is a truly unforgettable experience. Drifting along the spacious dive sites should be a good reason to come to Pemba, especially when you have abundance of reef fish and the unpredictable oversized fish passing by. We regularly find huge green turtles, big napoleon wrasses, eagle rays, tuna and king fish. Dinner and overnight stay on half board basis.

This is your day to relax and enjoy yourself at the Hotel. Pemba’s terrain is hilly and lushly vegetated, while much of the coast is lined with mangroves and lagoons, interspersed with idyllic beaches and islets. Offshore and coral reefs offer some of East Africa’s best diving and snorkelling opportunities. Whether you are interested in simply relaxing by the warm and indigo blue waters of the Indian Ocean, soaking up the sun at the infinity pool, go on deep see fishing, taking a bush walk or exploring the region the island will offer you a very unique and memorable life time experience. Depending on your flight time, after breakfast you can relax on the beach, lie beside the swimming pool reading your books or just walk around the village as you wait for your pick up time to Pemba Airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar in the afternoon. Meet and great at Zanzibar Airport and get transferred to Tembo Hotel. Dinner and stay overnight on BB basis.
